The Ultimate Browser-Based CSV Merger & Combiner

Everything you need to merge CSV files online without uploading your data.

Multi-File CSV Merging

Combine two or more CSV files into one clean output file. Drop files in any order and reorder them before merging.

Header-Aware Column Mapping

Match columns by header name so files with different column orders are combined cleanly. New columns from later files are appended automatically.

Source File Tracking

Optionally add a source_file column so each merged row shows which original CSV it came from — useful for auditing combined exports.

Duplicate Row Cleanup

Remove exact duplicate rows or condense rows that share the same composite key using the Deduplicate tab before downloading.

Header Analysis Report

See which columns match across all files, which are partial, and any duplicate headers or formula-risk cells before you run the merge.

Browser-Only Processing

Your CSV files are handled entirely in your browser. No server upload, no account, no data retention. Suitable for sensitive business data.

How It Works

Upload Multiple CSV Files

Drop or select the CSV files you want to combine. Files are parsed locally in your browser — nothing is uploaded.

Review Header Analysis

Check detected columns, row counts, duplicate headers, and any potential formatting issues before proceeding.

Choose Merge Options

Select whether to add a source filename column, align columns by header, or remove duplicate rows from the output.

Preview & Download

Review the first 100 rows of your merged output in a live preview, then download the final clean CSV to your device.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about merging and combining CSV files online.

How do I merge multiple CSV files online?

Switch to the Combine & Stack tab, upload or drag multiple CSV files, review the detected headers and row counts, choose your options, then click Merge. A combined CSV file will be ready to download immediately.

Can I combine CSV files with different column orders?

Yes. The Combine & Stack mode matches columns by header name so files with different column orders are aligned automatically. Columns that only appear in some files are included with empty values for the other rows.

Can I remove duplicate rows while merging CSV files?

Yes. Use the Deduplicate & Condense tab to remove exact duplicate rows or merge rows that share the same composite key before downloading.

Can I see which file each row came from?

Yes. In the Combine & Stack tab, enable the Add source filename column option to add a source_file column to the merged output showing the original file name for each row.

What is the difference between Combine & Stack and Join by Key Column?

Combine & Stack appends rows from multiple files vertically into one output, matching columns by header name. Join by Key Column matches rows from exactly two files side by side using a shared key field such as id, email, or order_number. Use Stack for combining similar data files; use Join when you need to enrich one file with data from another.

Are my CSV files uploaded to a server?

No. All CSV processing runs locally in your browser using JavaScript. No files are uploaded to any server, and no account is required.

What should I do if my CSV files have different headers?

Upload your files in the Combine & Stack tab and expand the Header Analysis panel before merging. It shows which columns are shared across all files and which are only in some files, so you can check for issues before downloading.

How large can my CSV files be?

Because the tool runs in the browser, performance depends on your device and browser memory. For very large files, consider splitting them into smaller batches first using Split CSV Online, then merging the results.
